If you happened by this site on April 8-9 you may have noticed that the site was, well, it was missing. The entire thing got wiped out accidently during a too hasty update. But it's much better now thanks to good planning and routine backups. And, if you believe that, I have some nice ocean front lots for sale on Chillhowee Mountain.
The next regularly scheduled guild meeting is at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 13, 2008. We will NOT be in the Student Center at Cleveland State as usual. We're having a picnic supper in the courtyard between the Student Center and Coleman Auditorium. Bring food, your favorite camping story, and we'll share and swat 'skeeters.
If you're not a Guild Member but are curious to see what the Guild is all about, this is the perfect time to visit. We rarely get around to business when there's food to be had.
Our typical meeting format begins with a brief meet and greet session followed by a storytelling related educational program and some storytelling. About 8:30 we try to wind down and switch to a formal (HA!) business meeting. We aren't offended if guests want to leave before the business session. Members, on the other hand, will be held hostage until 9:00 pm or until all business has been completed. The public is welcome to hang around for the business session also, as we have nothing to hide other than our own ineptness at acting businesslike.
